Vegetable Dyes

Vegetable DyesThe increasing demand of vegetable/natural dye in the whole world has replaced the use of chemical dyes. Vegetable dye is used in textile as well as food industries. Flowers, leaves, roots, fruits of many native plants can be utilized for extracting dyes.

Several synthetic dyes are being banned for human consumption as well as for cosmetic use, thereby the demand for natural vegetable dyes has increased to a great extent. Setting up of vegetable dye plant can be highly beneficial in the present scenario. Natural vegetable dyes that are safe and eco-friendly. Several research projects are initiated by us to develop cheaper technology for dye extraction.

Processes Involved in our plant:
  • Extraction of colouring liquor from vegetable waste like onion peel, pomegranate (anar), mango (aam), harda, etc.
  • Concentration
  • Spray drying for powder formation
Collection and processing methods for vegetable dyes are still crude and traditional. A highly profitable project, SSP Vegetable Dye Plant requires 300 sq. yard of area for installation. The operations these plants are simple and are completely automated. The dyes processed from our plant can be grouped into five categories: leaf dyes, bark dyes, flower and fruit dyes, stem and root dyes, and mineral dyes.

Starch & Its Derivatives

Starch & Its DerivativesStarch is produced from various raw materials like maize, cassava / tapioca roots, potatoes, wheat, rice etc. The technology or the manufacturing process of starch differs according to the raw material used. One of the highlighting aspect of starch processing / extraction is that starch is produced according to the requirements of the end users depending upon changing reaction condition (Temp, pH, additives) and strict process control methods. Customized or specially developed starch is popularly known as Modified starch. This is superior quality starch applicable for varied industrial usages.

To facilitate these aspects of starch extraction or processing, we design & develop starch processing equipment & starch processing plants that meet varied requirements in starch & it's derivative manufacturing units. Our advance fabrication facilities, team of industry professionals & technical know-how enable us to meet client's specific requirement by developing custom designed machinery. We also excel in establishing of complete plants for starch extraction & execute turnkey projects.

Usage of Starch

As a pure & renewable natural polymer starch caters to multiple usage. Its significance as a polysacloride (being able to breakdown into their monomeric and or oligomeric components) leads to production of Dextrose, glucose, fructose, maltose & sorbitol. Furthermore, starch is also an important ingredient for the sugar industry, which was otherwise relying upon sugar cane and beet sugar. Some of most common industrial uses of starch is as follows:-
  • Ceramic Industry : binder.
  • Food industries : glucose, dextrose, fructose, sweetener.
  • Paper industry : sizing, pulp making & surfacing.
  • Textile industry : pointing & finishing.
  • Adhesive & Abrasive industry : Important ingredient.
  • Rubber industry : filler.
